RELIEVE 2026
The annual RELIEVE conference brings together researchers, universities, industry partners, governmental authorities and civil associations from across Latin America and the world to strengthen collaboration on the search for innovative solutions on the sustainable use of energy in transportation, industry, buildings, and agriculture. Hosted this year by the institute of Transportation Studies of the the University of California, Davis, and organized by the Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District and the Sustainable Energy Research Group of Tecnologico de Monterrey, RELIEVE 2026 serves as a platform to share research, build partnerships, and advance joint initiatives that support cleaner and more efficient mobility systems, buildings with net zero GHG emissions, and green industries . The conference aims to strengthen regional capacities worldwide to support governments and companies in addressing energy and environmental challenges through research collaboration, knowledge exchange, and professional training.
The event will feature keynote lectures on transportation, hydrogen technologies, energy storage systems, electrochemistry, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy sources, environmental challenges such as air quality and greenhouse gas emissions, battery technologies, and forecasting methods for sustainable transportation planning.

About the RELIEVE Network
The Latin American Network for Research in Energy and Vehicles (RELIEVE) connects universities and companies working at the intersection of energy and environment. The network promotes joint research projects, scientific exchange, and workforce development while helping decision-makers reduce the environmental impacts of energy use through innovation and collaboration.
RELIEVE 2026 supports gender equality and social inclusion as fundamental pillars for advancing science, technology, and sustainable mobility.
