What is WinRELIEVE?

WinRELIEVE (also known as Women in RELIEVE) is a network of women researchers and professionals within RELIEVE, committed to strengthening collaboration, visibility, and leadership of women in STEM, particularly in the fields of energy, mobility, and sustainability.

We foster academic, scientific, and professional connections that promote innovation, mentorship, and inclusive participation. Through strategic initiatives such as our mentoring network, international congresses, and collaborative platforms, we work to create opportunities and amplify the impact of women in science and engineering.

We believe that advancing equality in STEM requires the active participation of everyone. That is why WinRELIEVE promotes a culture of collaboration under the principles of HeForShe and SheForHe, building a stronger and more inclusive scientific community.

Win’s Mentoring Network

At WinRELIEVE, we believe in the power of networks to transform science and technology. Our Mentoring Network connects women at different stages of their professional development to share experiences, knowledge, and mutual support.

Inclusion in action: Transforming Research Practice

This year, as part of the WINRELIEVE 2026 event, we are doing a hands-on workshop that goes beyond numerical representation, focusing on integrating inclusive and gender-responsive approaches into research design and execution.

Structure:

Expert Talk (10–15 min):

  • An expert will share success cases and introduce a practical toolkit/framework with best practices for inclusive research.

Interactive Workshop:

  • Participants will apply the toolkit to develop or refine their own research proposals, incorporating inclusion and gender considerations in a practical, actionable way.

Objective:

  • Participants will apply the toolkit to develop or refine their own research proposals, incorporating inclusion and gender considerations in a practical, actionable way.
