The International Summer School on Energy Transition is an intensive program designed to provide specialized training in sustainable energy. Through a multidisciplinary approach, the course explores the main challenges and solutions involved in transitioning toward cleaner and more efficient energy sources. The Summer School includes a series of practical and theoretical workshops that ensure participants gain a solid understanding of the core thematic areas of RELIEVE 2026: energy sources, transportation, environmental issues (air quality and greenhouse gas emissions), batteries, hydrogen, and forecasting for sustainable transportation planning.
Course schedule:
The program will take place during RELIEVE 2026, with participants attending keynote lectures and parallel workshops at the UC Davis Institute of Transportation Studies.
A certificate will be awarded to participants who attend more than 80% of the sessions.
