With the purpose of promoting the development of research and technological development projects aimed at increasing energy efficiency, especially in vehicles and the transportation sector, we are continuing the traditional VIII International Congress on Energy and Environment, RELIEVE 2026. The goal is for students, researchers, and companies to disseminate their scientific, technological, and social advances to society.

The event will include:
  • Keynote Lectures
  • Oral presentations
  • Best technical presentation competition

The best works will be supported and/or selected for publication in some journals with which RELIEVE has collaboration agreements and/or conferences where RELIEVE participates as a co-organizer.

The Congress will be divided into three main parts:
  • Keynote lectures by experts in the topics of interest for RELIEVE 2026. These lectures and activities will take place in the mornings of Monday, July 20; Tuesday, July 21; and Wednesday, July 22, 2026.

  • In the afternoons, on Thursday and Friday, parallel sessions and oral presentations will be held. Registered participants who submit their abstracts will be able to present their research advances and projects in a short presentation format (no longer than 15 minutes). These presentations will be evaluated by a committee of experts in the field.

  • On Friday afternoon, a poster session will take place, where participants will present posters highlighting the main findings of their research. These will also be evaluated by the invited expert committee.

All works presented, whether as oral presentations or posters, will be published in the Book of Abstracts of the RELIEVE 2026 Conference.

Please note that the main topics of the event are: energy sources, transportation, environmental issues (air quality and greenhouse gas emissions), batteries, hydrogen, and forecasting for sustainable transportation planning.

Additionally, the best works will receive support and guidance for publication in venues where RELIEVE has collaboration agreements, primarily:

RedIn – Revista Facultad de Ingeniería (Universidad de Antioquia)
https://revistas.udea.edu.co/index.php/ingenieria
(RedIn  is indexed in Scopus, operates under an open-access model, and does not charge publication fees.)

We encourage you to participate in our RELIEVE 2026 Conference.
